Detoxing Through Lifestyle Changes

I believe that detoxing is an ongoing process for life. You are exposed to toxins on a daily basis and so need to help your body deal with these toxins so that they don't accumulate in your system. When they accumulate they cause all kinds of health problems and diseases. You need to eat healthy, try as much as possible to live in a chemical and toxin free environment and exercise.

Eating Healthy

As much as possible cut out all processed foods, fast foods and junk foods from your diet. Eat foods as fresh and as natural as possible. Don't eat refined sugar and even limit healthy sugars such as real maple syrup and honey. Stop drinking sodas, especially diet sodas. Diet sodas have synthetic sugars that are very toxic. You should only drink a limited amount of coffee or caffeine (one to two cups a day), instead drink lot's of water and herbal teas. If you don't have a blood sugar problem, drinking freshly made vegetable and fruit juices can be very cleansing. Get your own juicer or buy juices at your local health food store.

Because it does not have a pump like the cardiovascular system, it relies on the movement of the body and muscles to keep it flowing.

Detox - How to Detox Using Cranberry Juice

Since you have probably heard many times before, that cranberry juice is effective for detox you are surely wondering how to detox using cranberry juice. You can rid the lymphatic system, the bowels and the kidneys of various kinds of harmful toxins with the help of the juice. Cranberries contain Arbutin, a diuretic that draws out toxins.

5 Day Body Detox Plan - Energize Yourself!

The 5 Day Body Detox Plan is something in my wildest dreams I never for one moment thought I would write about and not for one minute thought I would ever experience. You see I'm just an average guy in my mid forties; yes a little overweight and I will be honest and say I have never been on a detox or diet in my life until a few weeks ago.

At the moment I'm feeling the pinch of the economic slowdown, perhaps working a little too hard and for sure eating to many types of junk foods. A good friend of mine recommended that I try some form of detox plan. How I laughed and told him no way was this for me. My friend though is no mug and got me hook line and sinker by offering me a bet that I could not stay on a detox plan for 5 days. The bet was accepted and off I went online to do a little (or perhaps a lot) of research.

It soon became clear to me that this was not going to be easy! No tea, coffee or beer. No meats or processed foods! Oh my I was starting to doubt myself. After surfing the net for what seemed like an age I did find a site that offered several detox plans and the info was available without any charge which was great.

Now let me tell you detox plans vastly vary from some that only allow you to take fluids to others that do allow you to eat. The 5 Day Body Detox Plan I found did allow me to eat although only fruit. My doctor gave me the all clear so detox began! The great thing about this diet plan was that I could eat as much fruit I wanted so I was never hungry. I have to be honest and say I did miss my coffee and my daily pint of beer and the first 48 hours I did struggle but I did stick to it.
